Petition opposing speed limits reductions in Minnamurra

We the undersigned call on Transport for NSW and the NSW Government to reverse the speed limit reduction on Riverside Drive at Minnamurra from 80 km/h to 60 km/h between Fig Hill Lane and Federal Street.

We call for road works, maintenance and design improvements, including a review of overtaking options, vegetation removal, and increased police presence, to address safety concerns, rather than a reduction in the speed limit.

We note a reduction in speed limit will not deter visitors and frustrated drivers wanting to overtake slower vehicles and this reduction will potentially result in more speeding fines for locals who use this road daily.

We call for road works, maintenance and design improvements, including a review of overtaking options, vegetation removal, and increased police presence, to address safety concerns, rather than a reduction in the speed limit.

Reckless Driving Through Floodwaters Petition

We the undersigned call on Members of the NSW Parliament to vote in favour of the Road Transport Amendment (Driving Through Floodwaters) Bill 2024. Drivers shouldn't deliberately or recklessly drive a motor vehicle on a road covered by floodwaters, this endangers their own life, and the lives of emergency service workers.

Petition to reverse cuts to school education budgets and ensure Cambewarra Public School is properly maintained

We the undersigned call on the NSW Government to reverse cuts to school education budgets and ensure Cambewarra Public School is properly maintained.

We believe it is totally unacceptable that mould has been found in classrooms causing learning spaces at the school to close.

We also call on the NSW Government to invest in Cambewarra Public School with new buildings and resources that will help shoulder the increase in student numbers in a growing community.

PETITION TO PROVIDE A SAFE CROSSING POINT FOR PEDESTRIANS ACROSS THE PRINCES HIGHWAY IN BOMADERRY

To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly

The NSW Labor Government thinks its okay for kids to cross the highway between Cambewarra Road and Bolong Road.

There are no traffic lights or safe crossings between these two points.

Given the number of schools, businesses and a TAFE on this section of road, we the undersigned call on the NSW Government to provide a safe crossing point for pedestrians across the Princes Highway at Bomaderry.
