Kiama Jamberoo Community Music Assoc. - Request for Funding
The Kiama Jamberoo Community Music Association is seeking funding to enable the establishment of a webpage so that they can better communicate what they have to offer to members of the community.
The Music Association is a local not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers which was established a year ago to provide opportunities for residents of Kiama and surrounds to play music with others. The Association's mission was to be accessible to everyone regardless of age, level of ability or financial situation. They also wanted to support initiatives to get people together to play music without the organisers having to worry about insurance liability, venue and publicity on top of actually running their groups.
The response has far exceeded anything they imagined in the first year and really demonstrates that the Association is meeting a need in the community.
