Each sitting day, Members may give a one minute Community Recognition Statement or a written statement, which are recorded in the Hansard of that day.
 

Community Recognition Statements may:

  • Congratulate or acknowledge the achievements of people or groups in the community
  • Recognise charity work, retirement or honours and awards
  • Express words of thanks or condolences.
