Funding Open For Grassroots Regional Events

Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast Gareth Ward MP and Member for South Coast Shelley Hancock have today announced that the NSW Government is calling for organisers of all new events planned to be held across the Illawarra and South Coast from January to June next year, to apply for grants of up to $20,000 to help attract more visitors and boost local economies.

Grants to Protect Our Local Environment And Reduce Waste

Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast Gareth Ward MP has today announced today that $500,000 funding in grants is available to combat illegal dumping and grants of up to $200,000 are now open to support innovative projects to develop markets for compost made from recycled food and garden waste.

Relief For Local Community Preschools

Share The Mental Health Journey This October

Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast Gareth Ward MP has today announced that local residents are being encouraged to ‘Share the Journey’ by getting involved in Mental Health Month this October, with the NSW Government calling for people to come alongside family, friends or colleagues who are living with mental illness or having mental health issues.

Planning policy changes improve Port Kembla operations
