Member for Kiama Gareth Ward MP has today announced $150,000 funding for Cedar View Estate in Jamberoo to develop three eco-friendly luxury villas.
Mr Ward said he welcomed the State Government’s $2.5 million injection to bolster tourism across our region and to help to ensure the continued recovery of the visitor
economy across the Kiama electorate.
“I am extremely pleased that the $150,000 funding for Cedar View Estate in Jamberoo will receive this grant via the State Government’s Experience Development Fund,” he said.
“Our visitor economy is bursting back to life and as your local MP I am constantly talking to our local tourism operators and small businesses.
“Grants like this make such a huge difference in local towns and villages like Jamberoo and expanding the number of eco-friendly luxury villas on offer is a step in the right direction for our local visitor economy.
“It is also a very welcome boost for our economy as people travel to our region and from different locations all over the South Coast, the Illawarra, from all over Sydney and Canberra to enjoy everything that our beautiful Kiama Municipality has to offer them.
“After all, people who come to visit our region never forget their stay here and remain envious of those of us fortunate enough to call this region home. And that’s just the way we like it,” Mr Ward concluded.
