I am relieved to announce that detected contaminated mulch from the new Nowra Bridge Project is scheduled to be removed this week.
Since March, I have been trying to obtain information from relevant government agencies and the EPA to provide answers to the community for their inadequate handling of the contaminated mulch at the new Nowra Bridge.
I am not satisfied with how the government have responded to the detection of asbestos in the mulch surrounding the new Nowra Bridge. The government’s lack of transparency and neglect could have had a detrimental impact of the health and wellbeing of the entire Nowra community, the community I live in.
The clean-up process has been scheduled to commence on July 11, the work will take approximately 9 weeks with works also being carried out on Saturday’s.
