Kiama Harbour Action Plan and Community Consultation

Member for Kiama Gareth Ward MP has today welcomed the NSW Government’s release of its response to submissions regarding its plans for Kiama Harbour, set out in its Kiama Harbour Revitalisation Strategic Framework.

The Kiama Harbour Revitalisation Strategic Framework Consultation Summary Report summarises the issues raised from these submissions.

As a result Transport for NSW has also released its Draft Kiama Harbour Revitalisation Action Plan.

"I have been working with the Government on changes based on local community consultation and this plan reflects that work,” Mr Ward said.

"I am also pleased that there will be online public consultation sessions on Friday 3rd September 2021 to present this new plan to our local community.

“I would encourage anyone making a submission to also send a copy to me so I can do my utmost to ensure the final plan reflects community views and concerns,” Mr Ward said.
