Member for Kiama Gareth Ward has today announced that the speed limit will be increased between Berry and Bomaderry, along the Princes Highway during the holidays.

Mr Ward said that the speed zone will be returned to 100 km/h from Friday 22nd December 2017 until Monday 8th January 2018 to minimise delays during this busy Christmas holiday period.

“I made this request to RMS to ensure that motorists are not inconvenienced with delays during the Christmas and New Years’ holiday period,” he said.

“The speed limit will return to 80 km/h after this period.

“Motorists are also reminded that double demerits will be in force from Friday 22nd December 2017 to Monday 1st January 2018 inclusive,” Mr Ward concluded.
